drylin® W hybrid roller bearings are very often used for manual adjustments as they combine the
smooth running of polymer rollers with robust plain bearing technology for absorbing lateral forces. All that without a drop of lubrication in the system.With the new drylin W roller bearing WJRM-71, we are fulfilling a customer request, because like a turtle that pulls in its head when in danger, the rollers retract and the wide contact surfaces of the plain bearing take over.
Until now, the hybrid roller bearings in this installation size were suitable for low to medium loads of up to 400N, where particularly smooth and quiet running could be achieved. In the event of impacts or higher static loads, the optimised design now offers more protection for the load-bearing roller. The new functional principle protects the rollers from point loads and the wide contact surfaces of the liners absorb radial loads of up to 2,100N per bearing. The WWH roller carriage combines 4 WJRM-71 bearings with a robust, corrosion-resistant aluminium plate.
