Perfect conversion

This system converts ocean wave energy into electrical energy. This system converts ocean wave energy into electrical energy, using a linearly guided float with a mechanism that converts the upward and downward movements of the waves into electrical power. It is transferred to land by cable. The waves act with high lateral force on the float, which requires very stable hinges. The xiros® polymer ball bearings were used for this reason; they also made encapsulation superfluous, as would have been necessary with conventional lubricated roller bearings.
